Ironic that I’d make this thread as I’ve been playing nothing this past month BUT that’s why I’m asking! I wanna know what you’re playing, and how’s it going? Whatcha like about it? Maybe I could play it…
I have been meaning to play League of Legends, and when things slow down a little, I just might!
This thread made me realize I’m playing a bunch of sequels right now, Outer Worlds 2, Hades 2, Silksong 2 (MIO: Memories In Orbit, a metroidvania).
Outer Worlds 2 is exactly that, for better or worse, tho I enjoyed the first one and this is just more of that, I’d say the guns are much more interesting this time, like I have a goop shotgun that bounces around the room and melts everything, or an SMG that hacks robots to fight for me when shooting them. It’s not life changing but it’s fun!
I just got over the hump in Hades where I’m now beating the final bosses more than I’m dying to them and really progressing, and it’s really starting to shine with cool builds and trying the different versions of each weapon. Best part of the game!
MIO is really surprisingly good, the art style has this cool Moebius vibe and I was thinking initially it would kinda be an easy post-silksong run, but it’s got a lot going for it!
All this to say please do not play league lmao
A little bit of the new Animal Crossing update but it didn’t really capture me the way I had hoped it would. It’s basically just the Happy Home DLC but with a hotel… Other than that, a bunch of DEMOS! (I have lots of nostalgia for those good old PS2 jampacks) Playing demos makes me feel like I can still play something despite not having the time or energy and then I feel more confident about buying the game if the demo leaves me wanting more. Best demos I’ve played recently were probably The Séance of Blake Manor and Lost and Found Co.

I’m so bummed that they’ve officially announced they’re stopping with outer worlds after number two since I think it was evolving slowly but in a great direction. Although Avowed is getting a sequel and that was a pretty damn good game as well. Plus the way the world changes sometimes just based on how your character was built is pretty cool. Like something bad can happen and you are powerless in some instances which is a pretty bold choice but I support it!
