Hey Players! We’re cooking up a follow-up to our [Mewtwo v. Pichu animatic], and we’re game to hear any ideas you may have! Without giving away the laughs and gags we have in mind already, the basic premise we have (and please feel free to suggest wild changes!) is:
- Mewtwo is wallowing in all the loss he’s suffered after losing to Pichu
- Pichu meanwhile was rained in riches for his win, and has unlocked UPWARD MOBILITY, big house, nice car, vaporeon
- The son challenges his father to another round of Smash Bros, this time papa ain’t going easy (son plays as Pichu, father as Mewtwo, like last time)
- Mewtwo is dragged back to the stadium, and in the rematch Mewtwo puts in a meager effort, but to his amazement totally nails Pichu, then continues to unload on Pichu
- Mewtwo catching his breath sees himself in Pichu and decides the cycle ends here, and will spare Pichu
- Meanwhile the father is continuously mocked by his son, so papa finishes the “lesson”, and defeats his son
